AFD Movers - Rates & Services
Our priority is total transparency, so we want to ensure that you are aware of all the terms of our contract. Please read the information below and let us know if you have any additional questions.
Morning window - 8-9 am
Afternoon window - 2-4 pm
The clock does not start until we arrive at your pick-up location.
Our Rates:
- 2 Movers: $129/hour (cash) or $139/hour (card/Zelle/Venmo)
- 3 Movers: $169/hour (cash) or $179/hour (card/Zelle/Venmo)
- 4 Movers: $209/hour (cash) or $219/hour (card/Zelle/Venmo)
- 5 Movers: $249/hour (cash) or $259/hour (card/Zelle/Venmo)
- Additional Mover: $40/hour
- Truck Fee: $59 added to all jobs
Requirements:
- 3-HOUR MINIMUM BILLING TIME: This means that even if your move takes less than 3 hours, you will still be billed for the minimum of 3 hours.
- The clock does not start until we arrive at your pick-up location.
- If your move exceeds 3 hours, you will be billed for the exact time it takes, rounded to the nearest quarter-hour.
- DOUBLE DRIVE TIME POLICY: In accordance with regulations of the California Public Utilities Commission, driving time between point of origin and point of destination will be doubled. (Example: 15 minutes of driving between your old and new place = 30 minutes of billing time). ONLY APPLIED FOR MOVES WHERE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF LOCATIONS IS MORE THAN 10 MILES.

Attention:
- No Checks Accepted.
- Bulky items fees may apply for oversize furniture, piano, gun safe, gym equipment, or anything more than 250 lb.
- The customer must be present to sign the moving agreement at the beginning of the move and during the final walkthrough.
- Please make sure all appliances, computers, and other electronic devices are disconnected. We do not disconnect them.
- Please do not pack televisions or electronic cords (including electric bed recliners). They will be inspected before packing and upon delivery.
We cannot take any responsibility if we are not able to inspect electronic items. - We do not take trash, old furniture, or non-reusable materials used during the moving process.
